They are! And it was one of those things I'd only written once before, but then after deciding to use them as the subject for my advent drabbles, it all made sense.
Advent drabbles is definitely on my list of things to catch up with ... I am SO far behind on my reading this month, it's insanely bad. But I do look forward to reading the rest of your series - I liked it so much when I was reading at the beginning of the month!
And YAY, more Teddy/Severus! That makes me SO happy! <333
yeah, so much gorgeous that I'm not sure there's room for anything else in the room. They'd need a whole brood of Mundungus Fletcher/Dolores Umbridge kin to counteract the shiny, classy, and gorgeous in that household and bring it down to safe levels.
OMG! Beautiful. Just Draco's eyebrows alone dampened my knickers! I love the dreamy, far off look in Gilderoy's eyes and Draco's piercing, almost challenging, gaze right back at us as though he's just daring someone to disparage his man. The positioning is perfect too. I love that in your drabbles Draco is learning that type of maturity where he can allow someone else the limelight. The paradox of this pairing is that they both protect each other, where on the surface one might assume Draco is caretaker of an empty vessel.
Thanks! Yeah, I always see Draco as somewhat possessive and deeper than he lets on - although still very shallow about certain things. I also think he can see some of Gilderoy's qualities better than others 'cause he's trained to do so. He's also prejudiced in his favor at first, and has changed a lot due to the war.
Post-Obliviation Gilderoy to me is simply joy. He got a real fresh start. Likely he would have been killed in the war if he was not in St. Mungo's - either by Death Eaters or as Canon Fodder. I also think this was the only way he could have gotten himself out of a very very sticky situation.
