littleblackbowOkay, so this is definitely one of those "count your blessings, dammit!" days.
I am still sick. Day 4 of the godawful flu, and I cannot breathe through my nose AT ALL. Nope, not even enough to blow it. Not even enough to really swallow my own spit without pain. I've tried taking stuff for it, and it just isn't working. I've taken three showers today so I could eat and drink for a little bit without making myself want to puke. Gah, why aren't we working on a cure for the flu right now? And why haven't they figured out how to make a vaccine that doesn't use raw eggs in it?
I also got my son's report card today, and it's bad. Really bad. To the point where I feel like a complete and utter failure as a mother, as well. So, I'm sick, so I fail health. I have to stay at home, so I fail work and money. My kid fails all but one class fall semester, so I fail parent. What next? Shall I completely gaffe off my fest claims so I can fail fandom, too?
Might as well.
Actually, I think I might have to. I don't know how I'm going to have time to do career and parent and fan all at once. And my stupid ex still hasn't sent child support. He'd better damn well come up with what he owes me out of his tax refund!
