As to the fests, sounds like a good idea. You have enough to deal with as it is, without heaping unnecessary pressure on yourself. It might be time to rediscover the fun in it all in a stress-free way. Just for you, you know?
He's AMAZING... I think Im going to bring him with me to Azkatraz if I can manage packing him safely. I'm getting a buckbeak outfit together for him, so it should be pretty cool.
I have some grey fur and I'm making a grey, feathered wig. ^_^
he's from Soom, and SD size. Well, SD+. The doll with regular legs (it does come with regular legs, regular head, and a regular pair of hands) is 63cm, but standing on hawk legs, he's about 68cm.
^_^
Took almost a year of saving, plus three months of layaway on top of that, selling one of my other dolls to pay him off, but I think he's worth it!
Oh yay, another person who is into abjds and HP. I hope you don't mind if I friend you :)
I love the idea of Eucalse as buckbeak (those Soom monthly dolls are killer!). I actually tried to make my own buckbeak by modding an American Girl sized horse... hmmmm ... it didn't turn out quite that well.

Date: 2009-03-15 07:31 pm (UTC)As for fests (per the previous comment), I'm picking and choosing this year, and doing very very few. And that's turned out to be very good for me.
