I was thinking one of those really really fluffy persian cats, the ones that are so fluffy they get disconnected from reality forget how to use the litterbox and stuff.

Or one of those parrots who never really wants to stop talking and loves the sound of his own voice... and of course preens his feathers all the time. :-)
